The Book of Lies - Brad Meltzer

Let me first say that I could not put this book down and finished it very quickly. The author very brilliantly narrated four different stories and pulled them all together to make one story. The main character throughout the book is Cal Harper. Cal is a thirty-something" disgraced former DEA agent. He is currently working at a shelter where he drives around picking up homeless people. Cal also witnessed the accidental death of his mother by his father. Cal's father Lloyd is a integral part in the story.

In short narrative, the four stories are about:
1. Cal and His life story
2. The story of Cain and Abel
3. The story of Ellis and the Leadership
4. The story of Mitchell Siegel, the father of the creator of the Superman

I won't go into much detail about how all these stories integrate because it is part of what drew me back chapter after chapter.

This is a must read book! I was amazed at how the author seamlessly pulled all the stories together.
