Dangerous Highlander - Donna Grant
The book is set in Scotland in 1603 and is about 3 brothers of the McLeod Clan who were turned into immortals. They each have a immortal God residing inside them and have been that way for 300 years. There are also other Highland warriors who have immortal Gods in them. The brothers are Quinn, Fallon and Lucan. This story is about Lucan. The brothers have been hiding for 300 years in their castle and have not been out of the castle and have not been around any people.
Clara lives in the nearby village and goes looking for some mushrooms near the castle. There is a storm and Lucan sees her outside on the end of the cliff by the sea and she is going to fall into the sea by accident. He releases his immortal god and saves her. She then lives with the 3 brothers because their enemy, destroyed Cara's village. The brother's enemy is also after Cara because she is a druid. The story goes on from there.
I started the book and finished it. I started to get into the whole plot which was leading up to the fight with the enemy and then it just ended with one brother taken. That was it! It left me hanging and I wish she did not end the story the way she did.

I gave it a 5 rating because of the ending. I don't like that she left us hanging and we HAVE to get the next in the series to get a fairly good ending.
